Sweet Ann

Entry for Art Jam

I saw 2 designs for Sweet Ann, the Taiwanese design and this one. When I first saw this design, first thought was Marilyn Monroe (which should explain why I draw her like that) and when I get closer look to her design I finally understand why she’s assigned for this week. Those scars are a lovely addition to her design! So I decided to draw this, it is perfect for Halloween! Anyway I think that’s the point of assigning her this week.

I actually had problems with her facial expression, all my previous sketches looks too flirty, so instead I gave her an expression kinda saying “oops~! I didn’t mean to do that”, it isn’t her fault wind was blowing from below her! Actually, it’s more like my fault since I drew her this way. Anyway, I think I made her look odd, specially her face and I know the inking kind of looks bad too(I really hate inking). Tell me what you think though...

Approx time: 5 hrs.
